2011 - Year in Review - Part 4

October-
Of course, Halloween! We went to a few events so Hannah had a couple different costumes that she wanted to wear out of her dress up clothes. Zach was Batman!

One big milestone happened in October. We took our first camping trip as a family! Now granted, we were only about an hour away and we only went for one night, but it went pretty well. Chris hasn't sworn it off at least. That is a good sign. We went with a few families of friends so we all shared cooking duties and kept an eye on each others kids. We got a great campsite right by the playground and there were so many deer that would walk up so close to us. The kids were in awe and truth be told, so was I! We had beautiful weather and the kids had a blast playing in the lake.

The next morning the girls were playing in our tent and Zach walked over there. There was a little baby fawn going potty by our tent! Zach had to show the girls.

2011 - Year in Review - Part 3

July brought lots of days at the beach and memories made. July also brought Hannah starting her new preschool where she has blossomed into such an independent young girl.

Here she is on her first day

July and August also brought Project Surf Camp!! For the second year Zach participated in surf camp. He did 2 camps this year and Hannah was so excited to do it too! Such a great experience for my kiddos and I am so thankful they are able to experience it. Can't wait for this years camps!

In September Hannah turned 4 and we surprised the kids with a trip to Disneyland! They had no idea! We just put them in the car in the morning and told them we were taking a drive. They were SO shocked when we got there! Truth be told, Disneyland is one of my favorite places and I love taking the kids there.

Hannah was so excited to meet Rapunzel and Flynn Rider!

Zach asked Flynn what was in his satchel. Imagine Hannah's surprise when she got to wear Rapunzel's crown!!!

We got to see lots of characters

Both days we were there we spent time at the pool. The kids could not get enough of the water slide!

Zach is a little, ok a lot, obsessed with Phineas and Ferb. Imagine his excitement when there was a dance party and he got to dance with them!!!

There were so many more amazing memories from our trip but I will stop there.

The final installment of our year in review is coming shortly. Stay tuned!
