we almost have a walker....
I pulled out Zach's old walk behind toys this weekend and Hannah had no problem figuring out what to do with them. She can walk those things all over the house.
This shot was right after we took this walker out. This girl knows how to work the camera:

Wow mom, another one??:

I can push them both at the same time!:

So Big!!!
Hannah is getting so big. Both the kids had doctor appointments and shots on 6/16. Hannah weighs 23 lbs 4 oz and is 30 inches tall! She is still in the 97th percentile for both height and weight.
She is all over the place and loves to cruise on anything and everything and she moves fast. She works on her balance and can stand alone for a good 10-20 seconds at a time. She is also an expert at the controlled falling when she decides she wants to get down and take off crawling. If you say "So Big" she puts her hands up in the air and she also waves bye-bye.
She is such a great baby and has a wonderful disposition. She has been sleeping through the night for a few weeks straight, so that is a nice change too.
Here she is pulling everything off the fridge with the uh-oh face:

Presents, Candles and Cake, Oh My!!
Saturday afternoon we had some family and friends over to celebrate Zach's birthday. It was over 100 so I broke the 6 week rule by a couple days and let Zach and his buddy Max play in the water. Zach was very excited to have a party and when you mention birthday party, he says "CAKE" and he blows. So he knew exactly what to do this year. It was a great day!

A beautiful day
This past weekend we headed up to Burlingame for my best friends wedding. Majique & Suneet were married at Kohl Mansion . It was a beautiful day that we had all been looking forward to for so long. I was so honored to stand up next to Majique as her Matron of Honor.
This is not the best picture of me, but all I have so far:

Majique and I have been best friends for 24 years. I love her to death. She stood up for me as my Maid of Honor.
Friday night we went up for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. The kids stayed back with my mom. Saturday morning I went up and got ready with the girls and did all the fun before hand stuff. Our wonderful friends Todd & Melissa kept the kids for the day. Zach and Hannah had fun playing with their kids, Gavin and Abby. It was nice to not have to worry about chasing/feeding/entertaining kids. As much as I missed the kids by the time evening rolled around, it was a nice break.
For nostalgic purposes, here is a picture of Majique and I back in the day:

Happy 4th Birthday Zachary!!!
Today is my baby's birthday. I cannot believe that 4 years has gone by since I became a mom. 4 years since a perfect little 7 pound 9 ounce bundle changed my life forever.
We were out of town all weekend (more to come on that), so today we were driving home and didn't get to celebrate much (or celebrate Fathers Day), but next weekend we will have a little party for him.
Zach,
I will never be the same person I was before you came into the world. For that I am grateful. I cannot imagine life without you. I cannot imagine not getting that big wet kiss everyday. I cannot imagine not seeing your smile. Receiving your hugs. Hearing your voice. You mean to world to me and make me so happy and proud everyday!!
I LOVE YOU LITTLE MAN!!!!!

This is today before leaving my grandmothers house. He was very interested in the rocks, but this is what we got when we asked him how old he was today:

9 Months Already???
Where has the time gone?? It doesn't seem possible that Hannah is 9 months old already. It goes by way too fast.
She seems to be doing something new everyday. She is a master crawler and she is fast! She cut her 6th tooth this week. She pulls to stand on anything and everything. Including any person who has stopped moving for a moment. She has recently started testing her balance skills by letting go of the couch or whatever she is holding on to and just standing for a bit. She will be an early walker no doubt. She has learned to drink from a straw and thinks that is pretty fun. Since she has been moving so much, she has thinned out some and some clothes that were too small for her, are now fitting again. She likes to growl. She is into repeating things. If you blow into her face, she will blow back. If you blow raspberries at her, she copies you. Over and over again. It is really funny. She can also sign "More". It isn't the traditional sign, but it is a start. And mom and dad know what she is doing, so that is all that matters really.
She is such a loving and happy baby and her smile just brightens any room she is in. Her and her big brother are so funny together and love each other so much.
I feel so blessed to have such great kids!!
As always, here are some recent pictures....
